Jazzae was born and raised in Grand Rapids Michigan where she grew up dancing competitively. Jazzae danced recreationally since the age of 3 and competitively since the age of 6. While competing, Jazzae won numerous regional and national titles as well as dance scholarships. After graduating high school in 2012, Jazzae landed a spot in Western Michigan University’s highly competitive dance program. In 2014, Jazzae moved back home from Kalamazoo to Grand Rapids to begin her teaching career while earning her Bachelors Degree from Grand Valley State University in Human Resource Management. In 2015, Jazzae opened Imprint Dance Company - a competitive based studio (that also offers recreational classes from kids starting at age 2) in Kentwood Michigan with business partner, Crystal Delgado. In addition to Imprint, Jazzae coaches dance at Forest Hills Central High School and travels the United States judging dance competitions for Starquest National Dance Competition.
