EDF is hosting 2U4U Dance for a one-day clinic led by current dancers from the University of Michigan, University of Minnesota, and University of Tennessee. Whether you're aiming for a college team or just want to push your training further, this is a can't-miss day.

  • Janie Schowalter

    Tuesday, July 15th

    - 6pm-7pm Adv Contemp (Ages 11+)

    Born and raised in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Janie discovered her love for dance. She spent her middle and high school years training at Imprint Dance Company, where she danced competitively. Janie went on to become a four-year member of the University of Tennessee Dance Team, earning a National Championship title in 2021. She graduated from UT Knoxville in 2024. Now based in Nashville, Janie continues to pursue her passion for dance as a teacher and choreographer at Legacy Dance Studio and through virtual instruction. She also works on the Operations Team at Fiduciary Financial Advisors.

  • Jenna Belian

    Tuesday, July 22nd

    - 4pm-5pm Advanced (Ages 11+)

    - 5:15-6pm Intermediate (Ages 8-11)

    - 6:15-6:45 Beginner (Ages 6+)

    With over 22 years of dance experience, Jenna Belian brings passion, precision, and powerhouse performance to every class. A two-time NDA National Champion with Davenport University, she has competed at the highest levels and knows what it takes to win — on and off the floor.

    Her professional career includes two years as an NFL cheerleader for the Detroit Lions, where she showcased her talent on one of the biggest stages in sports entertainment. As a current Varsity Coach of the Brighton Varsity Pom Team, she’s led her dancers to back-to-back championship titles, blending elite technique with a focus on team unity and growth.

    Known for her high-energy coaching style and commitment to excellence, Jenna is dedicated to inspiring the next generation of dancers to reach their full potential.

  • Victoria Mithen

    Wednesday, August 13th

    - 7pm-7:45pm Musical Theatre (Ages 8-11)

    - 7:45-8:30 Musical Theatre (Ages 12+)

    Victoria Mithen is a dancer, teacher, and choreographer originally from Michigan who currently resides in New York City. She completed the CLI Conservatory program in 2023 after graduating summa cum laude with a B.A. in both dance and psychology. She has been dancing for 20 years and continues to train professionally in New York.

    Victoria began her teaching career at the age of 16 and discovered her passion for sharing her love of dance with others and supporting their growth. She has taught classes in ballet, jazz, tap, pointe, lyrical, contemporary, hip hop, pom, modern, heels, musical theater, and improvisation to dancers of all ages and is frequently requested for master classes by studios throughout the country. Victoria is also a judge with Journey Dance Competition.

    Victoria has been an instructor, choreographer, and judge for National Dance Alliance and is currently a choreographer for Varsity Spirit. Victoria is an innovative choreographer who works with competitive and artistic studios creating unique routines that highlight artistry, musicality, and technique.

    Victoria recently performed with RWS Global onboard the MSC World Europa touring the Mediterranean. Victoria continues to pursue a career in dance performance and choreography.
